The Wolfpack Women’s Beginner Race Clinic

Join the Wolfpack women’s racing team in a pre-race clinic the day before the Kwik Trip Tour of America’s Dairyland kicks off! We’ll focus on gearing, bike handling, cornering, and more!

This clinic is designed to welcome ALL female cyclists, ages 9-99, in various stages of biking– from recreational riders looking to gain confidence on a bike to Novice and Category 4 racers looking to fine tune their skills. All you need to bring is your road bike, helmet, and a can-do attitude! The Joy Ride Cafe at Wheel and Sprocket will be open for socializing and refreshments afterwards.

Practice your new race skills by registering for the Kwik Trip Tour of America’s Dairyland Women’s Novice Series p/b Wolfpack, June 16-20. All racers in this series will benefit from the Wolfpack Women’s Crit Camp – with daily pre-race pep talks and course recon, mentor ride-alongs during the race to reinforce fundamental racing skills, and post-race cool down and debrief with team members of ATX Wolfpack.

“I’ve created this program as a welcoming environment for novice women,” said team owner Kelly Barrientes. “We want to empower them and help build their confidence on their bike and introduce them to bike racing in a non-intimidating atmosphere.”

“Wolfpack’s enthusiastic ownership of this series speaks volumes for their mission and commitment to welcome more women into our sport! We’re so grateful to Kelly and her teammates and can’t wait to see the positive influence they provide to our newer women racers!” said Bill Koch, ToAD’s Executive Director and partner.
