As we announced our calendar of race dates a month ago, there was great disappointment that the granddaddy event of the series, the Otto Wenz Café Hollander Downer Classic would not be a part of the 2021 series. Well, here to tell you today, the Otto Wenz Café Hollander Downer Classic IS BACK this year on Thursday, June 24th replacing what was to be a day at the Wisconsin State Fair’s historical Milwaukee Mile!
We are beyond thrilled to bring this news to you and while it is not the traditional Saturday, just having the historical Downer Avenue neighborhood on Milwaukee’s eastside back on the schedule where it belongs gives us all reason to celebrate!
And if the Otto Wenz Café Hollander Downer Classic news just isn’t enough to put you our racers on pins and needles, then Primeville USA presented by Janesville will certainly put you over the edge, as ToAD’s reputation for some of the biggest prime purses in the USA continues! With The Janesville Town Square Gran Prix p/b Blain’s Farm and Fleet already AGAIN guaranteeing a minimum of $25,000.00 in prizes over the course of our two day visit on June 17th and 18th, and the Lowlands Lion Prime p/b Central Standard Craft Distillery and Ben’s Cycle and Fitness sprint competition returning in a smaller two day footprint with a minimum of $6,000.00 to be awarded on our closing day at the Café Hollander Wauwatosa Village Criterium Classic p/b Frank and Larry, there will be in excess of $50,000.00 in primes alone on the line over the course of our 11 days!
