June 17th: Thiensville Extreme Ski & Bike Cycling Classic
About the Venue
Just one square mile in size, Thiensville is an attractive, self-governed village located in the heart of the city of Mequon. The site of many historical buildings and home to a beautiful park along the Milwaukee River, Thiensville is a community rooted in tradition with a vision for the future.
Known as the "mile of smiles," Thiensville is home to approximately 3,400 residents, with a predominately small-town suburban residential character with a high quality of life created by well maintained living quarters. In 2005, Thiensville and Mequon were ranked 19th on Money Magazine's 100 Best Places to Live list while boasting an excellent environment in which to live, work, shop, play, learn...and RIDE!
