Tour of America's Dairyland Offers Limited Time Discount on 6-Pack Race Registration
Milwaukee, WI – This June 17-27, 2010, competitive pro and amateur races will have the opportunity to compete for over $105,000 in cash and primes during the Tour of America’s Dairyland omnium bicycle race across 11 Wisconsin communities. As added incentive, event promoter Midwest Cycling Series has announced that now thru May 15, riders registering for a 6-pack of races will receive a $20 instant discount at online checkout on SportsBaseOnline.
Aside from opening night on June 17 at the Shorewood Criterium Cycling Classic, which will feature Men and Women Pro races only, all days of the Tour will feature races from multiple categories including Women Cat 3/4, Pro Women 1/2/3, Cat 4/5, Cat 3, Masters 1/2/3/ 35+, Masters 4/5 35+, and Pro Men 1/2.
Racers are encouraged to sign up early as there are caps on registration and some categories are nearing capacity for some dates. General advance registration will remain open on SportsBaseOnline until June 13, 2010.
The 2010 Tour of America’s Dairyland presented by Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board will feature two road races in Greenbush and the historic Road America closed track in Elkhart Lake as well as nine criteriums in Shorewood, Thiensville, Grafton, Appleton, Sheboygan, Waterloo, Fond du Lac, Downer Avenue on Milwaukee's Eastside, and Waukesha.
The high energy of the bicycling action will be complemented in most communities by family-friendly activities, entertainment, official Tour merchandise benefiting Racers Against Childhood Cancer (RACC), plenty of food and drink from local vendors, and much more.
Endorsed and supported by the Wisconsin Cycling Association and United States Cycling Federation, Tour of America's Dairyland updates will be posted on www.tourofamericasdairyland.com.
